Who we are
The saddlery It was born in 1992 as an artisan laboratory from a passion of Oreste Mascalchi and immediately became a point of reference for western riding.
His experience in leather processing derives from the teachings of master saddlers at one of the oldest Italian saddleries EM Lastrai and was deepened in a specialization master at the WESA-Western English Sales Association in Denver, Colorado.
In fact, the saddlery laboratory was in the early 90s one of the first in Italy to produce accessories for western riding.
Once the laboratory closed, the saddlery went on to specialize more and more in the marketing and production of accessories and clothing for English riding, quickly becoming a guarantee for all enthusiasts and practitioners, also thanks to the #mascalchi line which is proof of this.
The elgaucho saddlery is not a simple shop, it enriches the offer for horse lovers and enthusiasts with a corner for the embroidery service and with an affiliated laboratory for sublimation, digital and refined embroideries.
Our store provides you with the best brands on the national and international market with an eye always on the innovations they present at the exhibitions in Cologne, Birmingham and Dubai.
You can find us in the most important Roman equestrian centers for all category races and trophies on weekends and we have always been present in the 2 most important Italian events, Fiera Cavalli Verona and Roma Cavalli while for the western sector you can find us in Cremona and in the wonderful Staffoli !
