Who we are

Born in the heart of Rome, El Gaucho Sport has been the point of reference for riders and horse riding enthusiasts since 1992. Founded by Oreste Mascalchi, our shop took its first steps as an artisan leather workshop, an art handed down by the master saddlers of the historic Italian saddlery EM Lastrai. Oreste's training was enriched by a master's degree at the prestigious WESA in Colorado, making El Gaucho one of the pioneers in the production of western riding accessories in Italy.

Over the years, we have expanded our offering, focusing on English riding , while keeping alive the artisan spirit that has made us famous. Our exclusive #Mascalchi line is a testament to the quality and attention we dedicate to each product. We are proud to offer a personalized service that goes beyond the simple purchase: custom embroidery, sublimation and digital prints to enrich the customer experience. In our store we offer express embroidery for your saddle pads, thanks to the embroidery machine that we have directly on site. This allows us to customize your items in very short times, without having to send them elsewhere. Come and visit us and give a unique touch to your saddle pad in no time!

Over the course of our 30 years we have participated in the largest events in the sector such as Fiera Cavalli Verona, Roma Cavalli, Cremona and Staffoli. Our commitment is constant in bringing innovation, selecting the best national and international brands directly from the fairs of Cologne, Birmingham and Dubai.
