• The Acavallo Classic model Gel compensator with Dri-Lex allows the skin to breathe while maintaining excellent contact with the saddle. The shaped gel with which it is made makes it thicker than a traditional pad, but guarantees a dual purpose, both non-slip and shock-absorbing. A great strength is that it avoids any unwanted movement of the saddle in any direction: forwards, backwards and sideways. Furthermore, the Gel is able to compensate for small imperfections in the horse's back, making it also suitable for slightly more "rounded" backs.
• The central part of the compensator has a smaller thickness which allows it to adapt better to the horse's withers and back, thus guaranteeing a greater space between the saddle and the Gel which allows continuous air circulation.
• The Classic Gel Acavallo® is hypoallergenic, non-toxic and does not react negatively in contact with the skin, characteristics that allow the compensator to be used directly in contact with it. The Gel can also be cut and therefore adapted, if necessary, to any type of saddle.
• Dri-Lex is a fabric that combines hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibers in an industry-unique composite structure. The inner layer stays dry, while the outer layer acts as a micro-reservoir for sweat and moisture is literally vaporized. Dri-Lex fabrics are designed to enhance the work normally done by nature; in fact, their function is to quickly move moisture in order to keep the body dry and comfortable.
