With Equestro Airbag vest, you wear an airbag vest without feeling like you're wearing one. It's lightweight (less than 600 grams) and doesn't limit your movements. Made with high quality elastic materials , follows all your efforts without friction. Its micro-perforated fabric allows optimal ventilation, so you can wear it both in summer and winter.
It is easy to forget once in the saddle and does not create any additional thickness.
It comes with a CO2 gas cartridge, an activation key, the connection strap and the connection cable. The latter, fixed to the saddle, ensures the connection between the airbag vest and the saddle thanks to the connection strap directly connected to the gas cartridge. In the event of a fall, the gas cartridge is disconnected from the vest: it is this mechanism that triggers the inflation of the airbag chamber in a few milliseconds.
All you have to do is pop in a new cartridge in no time.
Inspired by protective vests designed for motorcycling or skiing, this airbag vest, in the event of a fall, It activates mechanically and ultra-fast before impact to protect vital areas of the body, including the abdomen, rib cage, neck, back and most specifically the spine. This makes you less vulnerable on horseback and gives you the peace of mind you need to excel.
Thanks to its slim fit, it adapts to your riding clothes. In competition, it is discreet under jackets, while at home, during training, it can be worn over your favorite winter down jacket or over a t-shirt in the height of summer.
IMPORTANT: Under no circumstances should it be worn under a rigid protective vest, which would prevent the inflatable protection from functioning properly.
Compatible with SAFERIDE : Can be combined with the Saferide option offered by the Seaver application. When activated on your phone, family and friends are alerted in the event of a fall and can geolocate you to help you. A one-year SAFERIDE subscription is included with every order of airbag vests.
